Slouching is a posture that many of us tend to do in our everyday life. try this two different exercise to help strengthening you upper shoulder and maintaining the mobility of your thoracic cage which becomes hypo-mobile by slouching.

Thoracic Rotation: Kneel on all fours and put you right or left hand behind your head. your elbow should be pointing outward. engage your core muscles while rotating your thoracic cage towards the ceiling and pause for a few second and rotate to the neutral position. repeat the motion 10-12 repetition on each side.

Incline Y raise : grab a pair of light dumbbells, adjust the bench to an comfortable incline and lie down chest on the bench. Make sure keep your head in a natural position so you don’t strain your neck muscles. let your arm drop down the bench and simply raise your arm up, make sure to keep your elbow straight so the rotator cuff muscles are getting the most workout.( it is most effective if you pause while you are raising the weights up for a 3 seconds) repeat the motion 6-10 repetition.
